THE STAR OF THE SHOW

Father's Day turned out to be quite an occasion, I must say.  After church, Katie and Mike had everyone to their home for dinner and presents.  Those present were myself & Bev, Jim and Rhonda, Mike & Katie and family, Sherry & Jeff and family, Shawn & Liz and family, and Dan & Annie and family.

Titan - star of the show.

 All total, there were 24 persons in attendance plus one in Liz's basket.  Even though it was a day of celebration for the fathers, the star of the show was little Titan.  All the adults and some of the kids were allowed to hold this little child, and congratulate Dan and Annie for their new arrival. 

Titan slept the whole time, and finally opened his eyes long enough to give me a straight look, and follow my fingers from left to right.  I could tell that this child is going to fit right into the family, and grow into a fine young man with all the opportunities for a successful life.  He couldn't ask for a better support group than this one.

 The ladies couldn't have fixed a better dinner for the fathers:  barbecued hamburgers loaded with sliced onions and jalapenos, and smothered with cheese.  We men were all delighted.  "Way to go, ladies!"
