Eureka, Utah's famous ghost town, as it appeared some 40 years ago. The hotel is now gone. A locally famous steak house is now in one of the old buildings.

Being curious, I wandered inside and got a great picture of what may be a misty "paranormal presence."

Being chicken, I did not go up the steps.

  I don't think there was a smudge on the lens. Just now I compared the photo to the others I took, and they are all clear. I didn't notice the mist until I took a closer look on my computer; but still, at the time, I wasn't about to climb the stairs.

  I would have tried even if I got 'the feels'. Went to one place in Washington and I was trying to navigate to the living room where the stairs were. I heard a loud, paternal "NO!". I left. No questions asked. Don't need to ask me again.
