Saturday morning brought new energy to an already eager bunch of trilobite hunters, and a good, hardy breakfast added energy to our bodies. I don't know why, but food always tastes better cooked in the great out-of-doors.
The telescope was still set up from the night before, and the kids got a kick out of experimenting with it while waiting for breakfast.
She also made me give her a "pinky promise" that I would let her ride with me and grandma to Sherry's house the next day, as we were all going there to celebrate Mother's Day. |

a pinky promise is very serious business! glad you could keep the promise.
i just think food is better when someone else cooks it...whether outdoors or home or a restaurant!
WOW! Rachel has it all figured out! And tresspassing signs? When did it make a difference if they were posted or not! Ha ha. Looks like a very fun trip!
